The study of the book of Isaiah

I  video the lessons, but sometimes the recording just does not go very well, and I had to stop; this recording.
Isaiah 1:10
Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom; Give ear to the instruction of our God, You people of Gomorrah:
Isaiah 1:11
What are your multiplied sacrifices to Me?" Says the LORD. "I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed cattle; and I take no pleasure in the blood of bulls, lambs or goats:

WASTED WORSHIP: Psalms 51:17, Amos 5:21-27
Isaiah 1:12
"When you come to appear before Me, Who requires of you this trampling of My courts?
Isaiah 1:13
Bring your worthless offerings no longer, Incense is an abomination to Me. New moon and sabbath, the calling of assemblies -- I cannot * endure iniquity and the solemn assembly:

WE NEED REVIVAL: 1:10-20
We Need Revival When:
O Our actions remind God of Sodom and Gomorrah: vs. 1
For the list of sins of Sodom  Ezekiel 16:49
There are many sacrifices, but a God who is feed up: vs. 11
There is frequent attendance, but a God who is indifferent: vs. 12
There are many attempts at worship, but a God who is grieved; vs. 13-14
There are many prayers, but a God who will not hear: vs. 15
Isaiah 1:10
            The Lord’s rejection of insincere worship.  Jeremiah 6:18-19, I Corinthians 11:27-29;
Isaiah 1:11-12 and13
Wasted worship: Psalms 51:16-17, Amos 5:21-27, Jeremiah 7:10
A person who has been sinful during the week can be accepted through the sacrifice when it is accompanied by a broken, humble, repentant heart. So what Isaiah is really saying is that the reason God abominates the sacrifices of the unjust is not merely the inconsistency of external behavior during the week, but that they come before the Lord with hearts that are not broken for their sin, and with no true intention of forsaking it.
Isaiah 1:14:
            Hosea 2:11
Isaiah 1:15
Its not that God can not hear, He just will not listen if you will not repent of your sins.
 Galatians 6:;7-8; Hebrews 10:30-31; 2 Peter 3:9-10
Prayer will make a man cease from sin, or sin will entice a man to cease from prayer. John Bunyan
It’s not that God somehow goes deaf when we have sin in our life. It’s not that He can’t hear, it’s that He won’t hear.    Worldly static disrupts our communication with God.
Isaiah 1:16
The Lord’s offer of mercy.  What was Isaiah’s solution for Judh?
Turn away, desert, quit, stop,  make depart. Get rid of the evil in your life.
Here is a call for obedience to this command immediately and completely.  Bring to an end of this evil. Quit committing the willful, rebellious transgressions that are outlined there in this chapter. John 15:3; Exodus 29:4
Genuine belief...
Will cost a man his sins. He must be willing to give up every habit and practice which is wrong in God’s sight. He must set his face against it, quarrel with it, break off from it, fight with it, crucify it and labor to keep it under, whatever the world around him may say or think. He must do this honestly and fairly. There must be no separate truce with any special sin which he loves.
Isaiah 1:17
1.     Learn to do good
2.     Seek justice
3.     Reprove the ruthless
4.     Defend the orphan
5.     Plead for the widow

Psalsm 82:3-4, Proverbs 31:9; Jeremiah 22:3, 15-16;
Isaiah 1:18 Christ Can Make Sin of Scarlet As White As Snow.
The great invitation:  Exodus 32:26; Isaiah 55;1; Ezekiel 33:11; Matthew 11:28. Isaiah 59:1-2
SCARLET:    Daniel 5:29
Snow: Jeremiah 4:30
Cleansing: Ezekiel 36:25
Willingness: 2 Corinthians 8:3
Obedience: Mark 3:35
