HOW IS IT THAT DEATH COMES TO ALL PEOPLE? WHY IS IT THAT ALL PEOPLE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD WILL DIE?

We want to examine the first few verses of this section:We will look at vs. 12-14 hopefully
We note two phases “Death reigned” vs. 14 and 17 and vs. 12 tells us that death passed upon all men and vs. 21 tells us that sin hath reigned unto death.
SO THE QUESTION IS WHAT PAUL TEACHING US IS:
Death is king over the entire human race. Death reigns. Because of sin, death reigns over the entire human race of people.
The whole world is filled with graves
As a matter of fact all persons are going find death. Death is a fact of life.
· 57 million die each year worldwide. 155,000 die each day.
What are the chance you are going to die today?
· A Washington D>C. undertaker has a sign by his place: ‘EVENTUALLY YOURS.”
What about DEATH? Some have tried to describe it? But it is going to happen for sure.[i]
But the question that might come to our minds WHY?
HOW IS IT THAT DEATH COMES TO ALL PEOPLE? WHY IS IT THAT ALL PEOPLE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD WILL DIE?
· SO WHO CAME UP WITH PEOPLE DYING?
· DO PEOPLE DIE OF OLD AGE?[ii]
· SO HOW DID DEATH START AND WHY?
Our answer is found in Romans 5:12-21…
Let me remind you as we go through this subject, it’s a mystery that will never be solved by us in this life time, we will never know, maybe in heaven, but I don’t believe we will in Hell.
THIS LESSON IS NOT ABOUT WHY WE DIE. BUT WE WILL DIE.
BUT THIS LESSON IS ABOUT HOW IT IS THAT MAN WILL DIE AND HOW ONE MAN CAUSED THE DEATH TO COME UPON ALL MANKIND AND I MUST SAY ALL THINGS.

This semi-scientific approach yields an estimate of about 106 billion births since the dawn of the human race. Clearly, the period 8000 B.C. to 1 A.D. is key to the magnitude of our number, but, unfortunately, little is known about that era.
[ii] There are various ways of shuffling off this mortal coil, but people actually die from injury (such as a fall or car accident) or disease (such as cancer). No one dies of old age. Usually when a person is said to have died "of old age," it means that he or she succumbed to one of the diseases common in our later years.
While many older people do suffer from health problems, disease does not automatically accompany aging, and seniors are living longer and healthier than ever. Just as youth does not guarantee good health, old age does not guarantee poor health.

it is true that living cells have a finite life span, but that doesn't mean that the organism simply dies because the cells are old. Instead, genetic mutations, diseases, and damaging effects of the environment can foster a specific disorder or disease. As people get older, their cells simply don't work as well, and can't stave off disease as easily or heal as well as they once could. As a result, older people may die from injuries or diseases that a younger person would easily survive. But nothing dies from simply being old.
