THREE REASONS WHY WE ARE TO LIVE A LIFE THAT GLORIFies GOD AND STOP COMPLAINING
1A STOP COMPLAINING FOR YOUR SAKE: vs 15
2A WHEN WE TALK ABOUT THE REASON FOR OBEDIENCE, IT IS FOR THE SAKE OF THE UNSAVED.
3A THE THIRD REASON: FOR THE SAKE OF THE PASTOR: vs 16
‘THAT I MIGHT REJOICE IN THE DAY OF CHRIST. “
THAT I HAVE NOT RUN IN VAIN, NEITHER LABOURED IN VAIN.
I want to glorify God., I do that best when I run, labour in this life to bring about His glory in others. So in that day when I have to give an account of my labour, I want to be able to say that my labour has not been in vain. Hebrews 13:17; 3 John 4; Romans 15:17-18; Isaiah 49:6; I Corinthians 15:58.
As Paul looked forward to the Day of Christ: 1 Corinthians 3:10-23. The day of the Christians rewards.
Paul wanted a full reward, and he wanted to rejoice when he got to heaven. And he could do that if those under his ministry remained faithful while on earth. Paul said you will encourage my heart, throughout all eternity, by being faithful.
The greatest joy of any servant is the obedience of his flock..
Lord, whatever You are doing at Rivers of Joy Baptist Church, don’t do it without me.
