In November 2016 I took my lawn mowing money and started my model train display. Of course at the time I had really no idea what I was about to get into. I just jumped into this project with all that I had energy to do so.
I have been shocked how after just a year and a few months what I have accomplished.
I went to the November 2016 Model train show here in Portsmouth Ohio. This was my very first show that I had been to. It changed my life.
Then I started buy train cars and didn't know anything about what I should buy. I bought "O" tracks and cars. Than I bought "HO" cars and tracks. Well I didn't know the ends and out of those.
I bought old cars that had different connections to other trains cars. At the time I didn't know?
When I started I didn't have any way to run the trains. So I just displayed them as I thought I would like.
I have certainly had fun over the winter of 2016 and early 2017 in working on this display.
