Jesus ~ God the Son
"... God has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful Word." Hebrews 1:2-3
Jesus spoke often in gentle words of humility. These words should not lesson our understanding of Who He is. They should greatly exalt our view of Him ~ and our devotion to Him.
"Christ Jesus ~ Who being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death ~ even death on a cross."
Philippians 2:5-8
Jesus Christ ~ apart from Me
there is no God. There is none besides Me. Turn to Me and be saved all you ends of the earth, for I am God ~ and there is no other. (Isa 44:6, 45:5, 21-22)
