Bob Temple, Sr and Saundra Temple are members of Rivers of Joy. Bob in 2009 married Saundra Henderson. Saundra and her husband Cecil were missionary in Brazil for over 35 years. Bob and Saundra have been living in Arlington Texas the last year. Saundra has had some health problems and is recovering very well. And they are in Ohio for a few months. Bob will be speaking for us September 19, 2010 in the morning and evening.
Bob organized the Victory Baptist Church, in West Portsmouth, Ohio in 1968 and was the pastor for 16 years. Bob and his wife Lenora established the Mexi Itali Restaurant in 1968. They retired and sold the business to Tim and Sheri Wheeler. The church is pastored by Paul Gibson. Both the church and restaurant are doing great in 2010.
Bob has continued to work in ministry sin ice 1966. Bob might be 78 years old, but his love for the Lord and family is as great as it has ever been. Bob is my father in law now for 41 years, I am married to his daughter Charity.
