ANNIVERSARY SUNDAY AT RIVERS OF JOY BAPTIST CHURCH
PART ONE

I had not meet Jim and Bekkie, they are friends of Johnny Edwards.
I believe they love the Lord, and they like singing.
It is not the style that is all important, it is love that I sense they had of the Lord.
I don't like all style of "chrisitan" music. That is my personal opinion.
But Southern Gospel Music is good in balance.
What I like about the Harpers, they understand that worship is what is important.
ITS OUR DESIRE THAT FOLKS WHO VISIT OUR CHURCH
WILL SENSE THAT WE WORSHIP THE LORD IN SPIRIT
IN SONG, IN TEACHING, IN LOVE, IN FELLOWSHIP,
BUT MOST OF ALL IN
THE TEACHING AND PREACHING OF THE WORD OF GOD.
WHILE WE LOVE MUSIC, AND WE LOVE FELLOWSHIP,
THE DRAWING CARD, IF I MIGHT USE THAT TERM
IS TO BE THE WORD OF GOD AND THE WORSHIP OF HIM.
