What is the process whereby one becomes "Saved?"

You are talking to a child and you want the child (under 12) to understand what it means to be saved what are you going to say to him?

Next I am going to deal with how do we "evangelize children." Too often our children think they are "saved" because they said something, or believed something but indeed they are not saved. How do we share the "gospel" of Jesus Christ in the matter of salvation to children? How do we know they have been "saved?"
