These website is really good, you will not be disappointed to view this page about Bible flowers.
.
In the Bible the word LILY refers to a number of different plants. The lily of the valley was probably an iris, not the western lily of the valley (Song of Song 2:1). The lilies of the field were gladioli or amemone (Matthew 6:28, and Luke 12:27) "ROSE" a flowering plant mentioned in Isaiah 35:1 and in the expression "rose of Sharon" in Song 2:1. HENNA a fragrant plant having clusters of white flowers (Song 1:14, 4:13). It was found in the region of En-gedi and Jericho. The leaves were used to dye the finger nails and feet. It is called camphire in the KJV.
Seven Flowers mention in the Bible
Anemone, Crocus, Cyclamen, Hyacinth, Iris, Lily, Narcissus,
Star-of-Bethlehem, and Tulip.
Star-of-Bethlehem, and Tulip.
And I don't believe I ever taught a lesson or preached a message about FLOWERS.
That is really sad, BUT THESE SITES ARE REALLY NEAT.
