Jesus did not simply come to usher in the salvation of isolated individuals, but to establish his Messianic Kingdom. At the New Rivers of Joy Baptist Church we have a healthy dose of Bible teaching. The text is the sermon. The subject of the sermon is the text. The application comes from the text. We don't ask for a decision that is not ask in the text.

I watched "God Is Not Dead" movie again last night on my Kindle Fire. Again I thought that really is really good.
Okay its time to spend some time with my granddaughter AGW she will be with us until late Friday. We are going to the library, McDonald, Union MIlls, and who knows now where!

A thought on the rainbow so flying today: I am not homophobic if it is defined as being scared of gay people. I'm not bigoted, I just genuinely believe that scripture is authoritative and it says a lot of things I don't like - I just don't get to choose which things to believe. I have good reasons for believing that scripture is authoritative. I stand upon the Christian flag, not the rainbow flag of the gays.

The truth of one's true salvation experience will be in the reality of their belief. One who says they have been saved, born again, freed from sinful living, changed, redeemed, made righteous, and are in agreement with God's standard, will express that in their obedience to the Word of God in their daily living.

 The problem with all the crimes we hear about is not about antisocial behavior as much as it is spiritual behavior. They are always wondering why a person would do such a thing as killing people! Simply its a very bad sinful nature that finally show itself as bad behavior.
