HEAVEN IS REAL FOR SURE BUT YOU DON'T COME BACK

Heaven is for real and all believers will go to heaven, but folks only the Apostle Paul has been to Heaven and returned. This young boy has not been to Heaven and has not sat on the lap of Jesus. Sorry. Sad.

People have said they were in heaven and have come back since the beginning of time.
I wonderful if any one has been to HELL.

There is no scriptural evidences that you can go to Heaven and get a view and then return to earth. And then sell a book on the experience doesn't sound right to me.

VERB, indic fut act (Shall we Continue. MAY WE CONTINUE: verb, subject present action. A present subjunctive mood: i.e. refers to continuous or repeated action.

Is the literal picture of one abiding, remaining on, tarrying or staying at a place. Acts 10:48; 21:4; 28:12-14; I Corinthians 16:-8 and Galatians 1:18

Figuratively means to persists as in John 8:7, to persevere or to continue in an activity as in Acts 12:16 or state, such as in a state of sin in Romans 6:1.

MORALISM is the approach to Christianity that concentrates on the teaching of Christ as moral imperative to be addressed to society without adequate emphasis on the necessity for repentance and faith leading to justification.

LEAGALSIM: As their approach to Christian experience what they have tried to do is to manufacture disciplines, rules, and regulations designed to isolate the believers from all that would hinder or mar his spiritual progress.

CHEAP GRACE: A term coined by the German pastor and martyr Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Refers to the sad attitude, displayed in varying degrees of openness, which says, in effect, “I’ve been forgiven and I will go on being forgiven whatever I do, so I can do whatever I wish.”

So how are we to think about these type of thinking?\\

THAT GRACE MAY ABOUND? ⁴¹²¹MIGHT INCREASE. An aorist tense, active voice, subjunctive mood. Greek “pleonazo”.

· Means to abound, to increase considerably the extent of an activity or state, with the implication of the result being abundance……in this case that grace might be in abundance or surplus.

Sermon Preparation

TODAY MARCH 17TH 2011. 5:40 p.m..

Took Charity to work this morning by 9 a.m. She has a great job. Of course as an owner she is not docked when she comes end either. By 9 a.m. I have been up four hours too.

I don't know why preachers don't get together more often then they do. I had a good visit with Paul Gibson at Wal Mart of all places. We really should do this more often.

I have tried to work on Romans today. I preached this series back in 1983 would you believe so I do have a manuscript from the work I did then. But its been good to refresh my understanding on the subject.

LEARNING HOW TO PREPARE A SERMON

I am like John MacArthur, I rarely ever follow what I have learned about preaching. An Introduction, A Body and a Conclusion. (I know) I like to get to the chase. The verses is what is important. But too often spend too much time on the introducton.

While I was looking at Google Reader I came across Colin Adams page: "Preacher's Peril - Seeking Approval.

"The greatest peril for a preacher is wanting the acceptance and approval of his listeners.This is a serious thing that we have been called to and we will regularly have to say things that our culture thinks is foolish and the religious offensive" (Matt Chandler)

While on the site there was a post about 'SERMON PREPARATION, EIGHT STEPS TO PREPARING A SERMON." I thought I might drop over there, since I have been preaching 45 years I might need some help. (I really do).

Then I had to download the material. 40 pages on great notes. I really should read the material.

Speaking Seriously and Sensitively about Hell to the Sons of this Age and the Next - Reformation21 Blog

What is the preacher to do with hell and eternal punishment? In our day and age these truths strike some as comical and others as cruel. To some, hell is a joke. It's about little devils in red tights (so teach the cartoonists). It's a place where illicit pleasures are indulged (if we believe the entertainment media, not to mention the porn industry). It conjures up images of old-fashioned, red-faced TV preachers (before they figured out that only "nice" plays on the tube) preaching the disdained "hellfire and brimstone" sermon. On the other hand, in more thoughtful settings - major universities, mainline seminaries, serious print media - the mere admission of one's belief in such a destination for the unredeemed evokes sheer horror from the enlightened. How could you possibly believe something so primitive, so backwards, so mean, so exclusive, so intolerant? A rampant relativism and universalism makes hell the only heresy.

I personally believe in the Rapture, the taking up of Believes when Jesus comes to take us to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. So does John MacArthur.
